Approximately 1 percent of the 250 million cars, SUVs, and light-duty trucks traversing American roads are electric vehicles (EVs). An analysis conducted by PTR indicates that by the year 2030, an estimated 40 percent of new car sales in the US could consist of electric vehicles. These projections signify a potential significant shift towards electric vehicles in the coming years.
